2008 NRJ MUSIC AWARDS AUDIENCE FIGURES A TRIUMPH WITH ALMOST 6.4 MILLION VIEWERS
For the ninth year running, at 8.50 p.m. last night NRJ and TF1 broadcast the NRJ MUSIC AWARDS, live from the Palais des Festivals de Cannes, on the occasion of the 42nd MIDEM.
The broadcast pulled in 6,380,067 viewers, with the audience share comprising:
32.3% aged four and over
55.7% aged 15-24
48.4% aged 15-34
45.4% women under 50
THE NINTH ANNUAL AWARDS ACHIEVED THE HIGHEST VIEWER FIGURES OF ALL THE EVENING PROGRAMMES.
KYLIE MINOGUE, MIKA, CELINE DION, VANESSA PARADIS, JOHNNY HALLYDAY, CHRISTOPHE WILLEM, RIHANNA, JAMES BLUNT, TOKIO HOTEL, JENIFER, YAEL NAIM, CALOGERO, CHRISTOPHE MAE, FATAL BAZOOKA, SUPERBUS, JUSTICE, M POKORA, DAVID GUETTA ... NRJ AND TF1 BROUGHT TOGETHER THE BIGGEST FRENCH AND INTERNATIONAL STARS.

2008 NRJ MUSIC AWARDS COMPILATION CD
The official NRJ MUSIC AWARDS 2008 compilation CD was released on 7th January 2008 and features all the hits of 2007: KYLIE MINOGUE, MIKA, TOKIO HOTEL, ZAZIE, CHRISTOPHE WILLEM, AMY WINEHOUSE, BRITNEY SPEARS and more.
The album is distributed by Sony BMG and is available in three formats:
- a Collector's Edition DIGIPACK containing 2 CDs (41 tracks) + 1 DVD (21 videos)
- a Crystal Edition Double CD
- a limited edition Collector's pack with a double CD + NRJ MUSIC AWARDS goodies
Finally, as it is does every year, NRJ MUSIC, the NRJ Group's record label, will donate €0.15 from each CD sold to the NRJ Institut de France foundation, set up by Jean-Paul Baudecroux.
